Camera Angles Blog Post

Establishing shot-establishes context or setting of the scene. Long Shot- picture from a long distance showing a full object/body Medium Shot- Picture shows only a portion of subject and shows head and shoulders of a body. Eye Level Shot-shows something or someone in an eye level or looking directly at you. Close Up Shot- shows detail and focus of a subject Birds Eye Shot - shows a view from up above a subject Worms Eye Shot- shows a view from down below Extreme Close Up Shot- shows extreme detail of a subject    Reaction Shot -Shows a character’s reaction to the shot that has preceded it. Point of View Shot-Shot intended to mimic what a particular character in a scene is seeing.   Over the Shoulder Shot-shot where a subject is shot from behind the shoulder of another, framing the subject anywhere from a Medium to Close-Up.

Birds Eye Shot- uses curved lines and texture. Close Up Shot- uses leading lines, vertical lines, and informal balance. Establishing Shot - uses horizontal lines and variety.  Extreme Close Up Shot- uses informal balance and unity.  Eye Level-uses formal balance and vertical lines.  Long Shot- uses curved lines and texture.  Medium Shot- uses diagonal lines and unity.  Point Of View Shot- uses texture and unity. Worms Eye Shot- uses diagonal lines, repetition, and leading lines. If I where to complete this project again, I would have used a more interesting landscape so I could have created more unique pictures.
