End of the year blog post

My favorite part of this year was being able to learn about animation and how to create fluid movements and portray emotion. It’s something that really interested me and It helped me learn How to create a story. While I am unable to create a script, this class has helped me move forward into my dreams of creating my own cartoons.  What was most difficult for me however was just trying to learn and understand blender. For most it was easy, but for me it seemed like I missed a step every time! With practice, I’ll be able to improve though!

The steps and process of animation are important to each film or show, but my favorite is the concept of creating characters and ideas. I want to be able to create a story and bring a character to life, one that is memorable to others. creating  not only concepts, but completely running a show of her own is Animator Rebecca sugar, known for making the cartoon of Steven Universe. Many viewers may be critical of the show, but I enjoy just watching the animation and how the character moves on screen. I may have a couple of pet peeves on their own animation pipeline and instructions, but I still enjoy the colors , the shading , and the movement of the scene. Alex Hirsch , the creator of one of what I believe is the best cartoons of all time , also is an animator and the creator of Gravity falls. the animation is not only spectacular, but the story line is amusing to anyone of any age!
