History of animation

In 1937, the golden age of animation formed with its first colored full-feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs . Throughout the golden age, Disney brought forth not only new lengths of animation, but new story concepts as well. Snow White brought the idea of taking fairy tales and turning them into kid-friendly movies, as well as the well known idea of the Disney princess. The idea of exaggerating villains, telling stories through an animal's perspective, and the inclusion of dark scenes between uplifting silly scenes that created a silly mood,were the golden ages biggest accomplishments. Sadly, with the death of Walt disney in 1966, created the Bronze Age, or the dark age of disney. Without Walt’s new ideas, the crew was lost on how to continue making films without him.
